consultcriminalThe letters make up a Playfair cipher. HA. Get it?! Play…fair? Anyway, in order to use a playfair cipher, you have to use a tableau with the alphabet and a letter omitted. Jim’s taken out the M. Like….in the word remember! When you use the cipher against the letters, you get the phrase bythebeautifulsea.
The numbers of the seashells are a rainbow color, but that’s really just a red herring, of sorts. It’s the number where the colors stop that’s important. So…number 7. The seventh building from where they usually enter the beach is where she’s being held. Seventh to the right or the left? Gotta figure it out! (Hint- it’s the left)
She’ll be at the top of the building, right where it’s going to crumble.
